Where to Eat

Morocco is known for its culinary delights and Marrakech has it all. Tagine, pastillas, kebabs, and lots more. With all of the homegrown produce, the dishes are just bursting with flavor. There are many different options when it comes to enjoying food in Morocco. There’s everything from food stalls to fancy restaurants. This is a personal choice and a bit of a mix during your stay is a great idea. For those on a tight budget, you will find lots of great food for little money. Every evening in Jemaa el-Fna (which is the main square in Marrakech) the food stalls are set up and you can weave your way around all of the different pop up restaurants that are there. You can sit and eat, too. This is a great way to stay casual and enjoy the local fare. If you’re feeling fancy, there are many restaurants that are very modern and on par with what you may be used to at home.
