Restaurants and Bars in Aix-en-Provence
I’ve now been here long enough that I think I can safely share my opinions about where I think the best spots are to go in Aix-en-Provence. I will keep updating this but for now, here is where I like to hang out. Each street or square has a few that I frequent often. There are many more but I’m going to share my “go to spots”. Below, you will find my TripAdvisor reviews on much more but these are my favorites

This is my neighborhood. I always end up at these 4 places. There are lots more, but this is what I like.
De L’une a L’autre This is my favorite restaurant in Aix. I love the food, I love the people that own it, and I love the outdoor terrace in the summer. It is a little oasis in the middle of a busy city.
Le Petit Prince - This is a newly opened restaurant, and it’s very good. It is classy but casual, and the food is excellent. They also do French tapas-style bites. Nice choice for both lunch and dinner.
Le Cardeurs Bacchus- The sun trap in Aix. This is a great place for drinks and food. Go and hang out here for an afternoon. It’s a sunny spot.
Prima Pasta- Yes, it’s Italian, but it’s really good, and the staff is so friendly. This is a no-brainer for a good lunch or dinner. Also, a sunny spot.

I spend a lot of time on this street and so will you! I more often than not end up frequenting the places below
Cafe de Paris - This place is great for everything. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or just a coffee with friends. It’s always the fallback and I go here a lot.
La Belle Epoque- 29 Cours Mirabeau - Nice menu and nice staff. Very French. This is where we have international coffee meetups. Nice place!
La Rotonde - This restaurant suits everyone. There is just about everything on the menu and even during off hours there is a bar menu so always an option. I love it here. Easy
Cafe Le Grillon - This restaurant and inside bar reminds me of Paris. It’s a nice spot.

L’Unic Bar - It doesn’t look like much but lots of us hang out here on a regular basis. It’s a local hangout
Le Petit Bistro - Always good for lunch or dinner. Nice staff and very consistent. It’s a good place to eat good food and take in the French atmosphere.
Le Pain Quotidienne- Breakfast and sandwiches in the sun. This is a chain from Belgium and I’ve been following them all over the world. This is a nice one and the people that work here are lovely. I love this place.

Le Forum - A great place for coffee, drinks or a good meal. Le Forum is always busy.
