Spring in February

It is February 1st and it feels like Spring. For one week, at least, Provence has started to see more sunny days. Suddenly, the days feel a bit longer and the sun has been shining, allowing us to get outside and do what we love best. Eating outside, hiking the many trails of the area and enjoying the sights on these beautiful days.

The air is cool in the mornings and evenings but from about noon until 4, it feels very warm in the sun. In fact, the weather is perfect right now. It is comfortable to do just about anything. Don’t forget your jacket but it is still a nice place to be.

I would say that this is a great time of year to come to Provence and enjoy the French lifestyle. The museums are not busy and the towns are busy enough to have atmosphere without being taken over by hoards of tourist groups.

I think that this is the best time to be here. Consider it.
